We provide a professional nutrition advice service to assist clients of all ages who present with a wide variety of nutrition concerns. Ellen has a special interest in helping clients to achieve weight loss, resolving digestive disorders, sports nutrition, fertility and autoimmune conditions.

Our core aim is to always work with the client in a non-judgemental manner to achieve personal goals.

Ellen is currently an active member on the Irish Nutrition & Dietetic Institute (INDI) and Self Employed Dietitians Ireland. Ellen worked as a Dietitian at Midlands Regional Hospital in surgery and the Intensive Care Unit for a number of years. In 2011, she established Nutri Vive Nutrition Consultancy initially in Kilkenny.

Ellen was one of the first Irish Dietitians to attend Kings College London for advanced training with the new Low FODMAP diet (a highly effective nutritional treatment for bowel and digestive problems).

She has a keen interest in sports nutrition and has worked as Team Dietitian to the Wexford Senior Hurling Team and Waterford Ladies Senior Football. Ellen has previously been the resident nutrition expert for The Today Show on RTE 1 Television for the 2014 series.

We also provide a complete range of corporate services including workplace wellbeing seminars, educational talks on a variety of health issues, new product development support for entrepreneurial food businesses etc. Ellen also works on behalf of Spar Ireland as their consultant nutritionist on all health product and diet related matters.

Appointments with the Dietitian at Vista Primary Care are currently held on Thursday afternoon and evening time. Professional fees are €120.00 for an initial one hour appointment and €60.00 for a half hour follow up meeting. Private health insurance companies usually reimburse part of the consultation fees. Special packages are also available.
